Our recommended core material is Styrofoam
Our Foam Fabrication facility includes a range of hot-wire cutting machines are able to cut the Styrofoam core to thicknesses of 5mm to 150mm to a tolerance of +/- 0.5mm.
Styrofoam is the market leader and its physical properties of low thermal conductivity, good compression resistance and resistance to moisture make it ideal for architectural panels.
In addition to Styrofoam, we also offer the following cores materials to meet your performance criteria:
- Polyurethane,
- Polyisocyanurate (PIR),
- Mineral fibre lamella,
- Phenolic foam.
- Aluminium Honeycomb
Laminating and Pressing Technology:
An automated spray system is used to control the application of adhesive. The adhesive is solvent-free and, when cured, provides a structural bond between materials as diverse as metal, foam plastics and particle boards. Other adhesive systems are available for specialist applications including neoprene, acrylic and SBRs
